Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The Owner will oversee overall business operations, including setting strategic direction, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Daily responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction. The Owner will handle key stakeholder relationships, negotiate with suppliers and partners, and make decisions to drive growth and profitability. This role also involves reviewing financial reports, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing processes to optimize efficiency and sustainability. Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing or owning a business, with strong skills in operations oversight and strategic planning.Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and decision-making based on data and performance metrics.Strong leadership abilities, including team management, conflict resolution, and staff development.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with customers, partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.Solid understanding of local business regulations and market conditions in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.Ability to work on-site full time, adapt to changing business needs, and maintain a hands-on approach to daily operations.Relevant education in business, management, finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Experience implementing process improvements and using basic digital tools (e.g., email, office software) to manage operations.
